The was no better place to launch our new book, Cocktails for Cougars & Cowgirls: Simple and Delicious Recipes for Every Woman, than our hometown of San Diego. And there was no better group to celebrate with than San Diego’s best bloggers.

Thanks to OB Warehouse, located in the heart of Ocean Beach, the nineteen of us gathered around a long table in the center of the restaurant and basked in foodie heaven. Many in the group knew each other, but for some, it was the first time connecting a face with a writer. We were also joined by Leonidas, a representative from Sage Beverages, who was there to tell us about the Tavi tequila and ZioBaffa wine that we were enjoying with our meal.
We kicked things off with a delicious jalapeño Margarita, followed by a four-course dinner. Over dessert and coffee, a fish bowl filled with notecards circled the table. Each person had to answer questions like, “Was there ever a blog post you took down right after you wrote it, ” and “how might you explain the term food porn to your grandmother.” Guests left with a goodie bag filled with treats from RumChata, Sukkah Hill spirits, and Distillery No. 209.
